Pragjyotishpur University is proud to announce that admissions are now open at the Pragjyotishpur Ayurveda Gurukulam for the B.A.M.S. with Pre-Ayurveda programme, affiliated to Central Sanskrit University, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
This pioneering initiative is envisioned to be among the first of its kind in Northeast India, blending the time-honoured Gurukulam tradition and Bharatiya knowledge systems with contemporary professional education in Ayurveda.

Proposed Campus Master Plan (Schematic)
Schematic master plan of the proposed Ayurveda Gurukulam campus at Pragjyotishpur University, Hajongbari — Plot C (Part-1), spread over approximately 46,150 sqm (30 Bighas). The plan envisages dedicated mandalas for administration (Prashashan Mandala), teaching–learning (Adhyayan-Adhyapan Mandalas), student and faculty residences (Chatra Niwas & Adhyapak Niwas Mandalas), a wellness and treatment facility (Chikitsa, Aram & Swasthya Mandala), along with an Aushadha Udyana (medicinal plant garden), Krishi Bhumi, Gaushala and Hawan Bhumi.

Admissions & Commencement Admissions Open
Admissions are now open for B.A.M.S. with Pre-Ayurveda (2-year residential foundation programme after Class 10) for Academic Year 2026–2027. Last date for online applications: 31 August 2026. The NEET–PA examination and commencement of classes will be notified soon.
